Elenco de The Young and the Restless, na celebração dos 40 anos da trama: novos motivos para comemorar, com as indicações ao Daytime Emmys

Foram anunciadas na manhã desta quarta-feira (1º) as indicações para a 40ª edição dos Daytime Emmy Awards, a ser realizada no dia 16 de junho, no Beverly Hilton Hotel, em Beverly Hills (Califórnia), com transmissão do canal pago HLN. A novela The Young and the Restless, da CBS, recebeu o maior número de indicações – 23, no total, seguida de General Hospital (ABC, 19), do infantil Sesame Street (PBS) e da novela Days of Our Lives (NBC), ambas com 17 indicações cada. A outra novela sobrevivente da grade da CBS, The Bold and The Beautiful, recebeu 15 indicações.
Entre os talk-shows, The Ellen DeGeneres Show recebeu 10 indicações. Animações que passam no Brasil através dos canais pagos Nickleodeon e Cartoon Network, respectivamente, Kung Fu Panda e Star Wars: A Guerra dos Clones (esta, já cancelada) receberam sete indicações. Os Pinguins de Madagascar recebeu a mesma quantidade de indicações dada ao talk-show The Talk: cinco.
